BERLIN – Emerging investment vehicles like Yieldcos and Independent Power Producers (IPP’s) are opening up the solar secondary market for large-scale investments, making solar assets attractive for larger institutional investors. Sales of portfolios in the €50-100m range are increasing with €2-3 billion of new assets per annum until 2020 forecast in the UK alone.
